Structure Assembly Services

One of the questions we are most frequently asked about our structures at train shows is, "What are they made of?" Frequently, the answer is , "Plastic". It's all in how you finish them. We can make plastic kits look like scratch built. Painting and weathering to your specifications is included in the price.

Kit Assembly

Styrene Kits *3X List Price
Non-Styrene Kits *4X List Price
Plaster and Soldered Metal by quotation

* If customer provides kit, subtract 1 from multiplier.

 

Kitbashing, Scratch Building, and Complete Layout or Module construction by quotation.

General Labor rate $35.00/hour.

Quotations are firm unless specifications are changed after commencing work.

Basic Assembly (Athearn type kit -- includes weathering $10.00
Kadee™ #5 installation (without body modification) $ 1.50/pr
3 color weathering (by airbrush) - first 5 cars $15.00
each additional car $ 2.50
